Other Trimmers-On-Wheels
Nearly 15 years ago we invented the original DRŪ
trimmer-on-wheels concept. However, in the last few years several
manufacturers have copied the DR's design...and it's true that some
of these "look-alikes" are offered at prices lower than the DRŪ. But
there's a good reason why they cost a little less -- in fact, there
are several reasons -- and you should certainly know about them
before you buy any Trimmer On Wheels. So, please do take a moment
and see How
the DRŪ Compares to the Competition. |

Hand-Held String Trimmers
No
matter how light they feel at first, these machines tire your arms,
neck, shoulders, and back after just a few minutes. Their little
2-cycle engines force you to mix oil and gas, are noisy, smelly, and
hard to start. Plus, they don't have nearly enough power to cut tall
grass without slowing down and tangling unbearably. With the DRŪ the
weight of the machine is supported on two big wheels -- not you --
so it's easy for anyone to handle. The DRŪ also uses 4-cycle engines
that start easily and have the power to mow tough, thick, waist-high
grass and weeds without clogging. |

Small-Wheels Lawn Mowers
Ordinary lawn mowers, with their enclosed decks, were never
designed to mow tall grass. Grass gets trapped underneath, producing
a soggy, slimy mess, often stalling the engine! In contrast, the DRŪ
has no deck over its mowing head, which means NO CLOGGING or loss of
power -- even when mowing tall, waist-high, WET grass!
