The 4.0 HP is our lightest-weight model and is easy for anyone to operate. This is the best choice if you want a DR® mostly for trimming your lawn, but it does a great job mowing tall grass and weeds, as well. The 4.0 HP also accepts the optional BEAVER BLADE® Attachment.

The 5.0 HP model is lightweight enough to make it a precise, nimble trimmer, but it has extra power to spare for tough mowing conditions...and for cutting trees up to 3" in diameter with the optional BEAVER BLADE® Attachment. A good all-around performer...and a great value!
