"I have
always wanted a DR Trimmer."
"I decided to
buy one on my 65th birthday and you can't imagine the thrill I got
when it turned out to be everything I thought it was and more! Easy
to operate and maintain. It is so much fun and our yard is the
cleanest it has been in over 30 years. I cleared along the fences in
the yard and the pasture. It's so much different than the weedeater.
You just don't get tired."

"I bought a
Troy-Bilt trimmer here in town, used it for 15 minutes, and hated
it. I am 5' 3" tall and could not balance and push the machine at
the same time. The front end just dug into the ground, so I took it
back.
"Then I watched your video and saw older folks and ladies
using the DR. I called and talked with one of your Sales Reps and
she told me the DR really was easier to use, so I ordered it. I have
been very satisfied. It is so easy to operate and really does a nice
job. Thanks a lot!"

"I
have over 100 hours mowing time on the DR Trimmer/Mower. It has been
a real time and work saver. It works great on coarse
grass and even small brush. Areas where I once spent hours with a
hand-held string trimmer are now cleared in a few minutes with the
DR."

"I really do appreciate the thoughtful engineering that has
gone into its design..."
"My property
comprises three acres on the shore of Vancouver Island and my aim is
to keep it 'park-like.' Your machine has been a great help in
keeping down the long grass, which gets an annual cutting, and I can
use it without any thought of damaging a cutter blade on the rocks
that abound everywhere.
"I really do appreciate the
thoughtful engineering that has gone into its design, and also your
regular bulletins and follow-up advice. I also appreciate your
prompt service when I need a replacement part."

"We have
limestone on the bank, so we can't use the regular mower
there."
"You people
really build a wonderful machine. I did quite a bit of looking
around at other machines and I sure am glad I purchased my 6.5 HP
Briggs DR Trimmer/Mower.
"Enclosed is a photo of me mowing
around the pond at our farm. We have limestone on the bank, so we
can't use the regular mower there. I really like the DR -- it is
well designed and will last for years."

"I used to be
lucky if I could trim for half an hour using the hand held trimmer
before my hands and back hurt."
"We think the DR is just
great. I used to be lucky if I could trim for half an hour using the
hand held trimmer before my hands and back hurt. Now I can work for
hours with the DR and still function afterward.
"We have
3-1/2 acres, most of it with birch trees that we trim around, and
the DR does a great job. Plus it starts so easy with just one pull.
And the strings last a long time, and are so much easier to change
than the hand-held trimmer. I also like that I can mow even after a
rain. The neighbors are all waiting for their lawns to dry out and
mine is all done. In short, it's great. I definitely am glad I
ordered it."

"Now I can
cut overgrown grass and weeds that are chest high and would clog our
lawn mower."
"We bought 52 acres of wood land. We were
having to cut trees with the chainsaw but since my husband bought
the DR Trimmer with the Beaver Blade, I just walk through and cut
the smaller trees.
"I love my DR
Trimmer -- it saves my back, it's fast, and it saves me hours of
work. Now I can cut overgrown grass and weeds that are chest high
and would clog our lawn mower. It works just like a brush hog on a
tractor."

"This is a
picture of me with my 3.5 HP DR that I bought in September of 1988.
I have run it for the last 11 years on our 4 acre property and it
still runs great. Now I'm going to sell it to my son and get the 6.5
HP PRO for myself.
"I
paid $335.99 total for the 3.5 HP trimmer in 1988 and I'm selling it
to my son for $35. That's less than $28.00 per year. You can't beat
that. I would highly recommend the DR to anyone. Thanks!"

"...It pays to make sure that you buy the real product and
not get fooled with price!" |
"The beautiful
thing about using the DRŪ is that we're not limited by rough areas
and by terrain. I have some ponds and ditches that you can't get a
regular mowing machine in. The DR is the perfect solution for the
more difficult terrain." |
"I receive a magazine that had an ad for
the DRŪ in it and I sent away for the demo tape, and it looked very
attractive. But in the process, I saw a machine at a local discount
store that looked very much like the DRŪ. And I thought, gee that's
a good one, I think I'll buy that and take it home.
"When I brought the machine home and assembled
it and tried it out, after about a half hour the wheels started to
wobble and I discovered that the exhaust pipe for the engine on this
clone to the DRŪ -- had melted the wheel and so it was a faulty
design. I guess it pays to make sure that you buy the real product
and not get fooled with price. So, after taking it back and getting
my money refunded, I immediately called and ordered a DRŪ with the
electric start and got the real thing. "Being
a machinist by trade, I took one look at the workmanship and the
quality of craftsmanship on the DRŪ, and it met my standards. I
would recommend the DRŪ to other folks and I believe that the
biggest selling point is quality of both the product manufacturer,
the quality of service and the excellent service you get when you
call with a question. These folks are wonderful on the other end.
They treat you like family."
